Courtney Hall

Courtney Hall has been working with young children for many years. Before starting at Hummingbird, she was a nanny and caretaker for young children ranging in age from infant to young adult.

Courtney is entering her third year (fall 2010) as a co-teacher at Hummingbird School. Her commitment to the program is exceptional. She is an amazing educator and the children adore her.  She is kind, patient and loving and her accepting, gentle nature truly resonates with the kids.

In addition to working at Hummingbird, she is a student at Portland Community College.  Courtney has an inquisitive mind and is a committed lifelong learner. She adds to her knowledge base as an Early Childhood Educator by reading books and attending workshops. She is a trusted caretaker, and many of our families have employed her as a babysitter during off school hours.

We feel very fortunate to have Courtney at our school.
