  • A variety of sensory, open-ended learning opportunities such as clay, sand, water, gardening, baking, mixing, pouring, sorting, etc.

  • A variety of art mediums and activities such as finger paints, water paints, tempura paints, glue, feathers, natural found object art, pencils, markers, crayons, flubber, sculpture, etc.

  • Music making, singing, movement and dance, including gross and fine motor activities. I have been leading music groups with young children for many years and have a wide repertoire of songs, rhymes and movement activities. I also play guitar and have a large selection of instruments the children can explore.

  • Free, unstructured play time to build, nurture, make believe, "cook", work on puzzles, dress up, string beads, sort objects, imagine and create.

  • Group and individual story times and storytelling, emergent literacy activities.

  • Outings to a nearby playground and outdoor playtime in a yard with sand boxes, a large garden, strawberry patch, blueberries, blackberries, and fruit trees.

  • No television, movies, or computers.
